Kayaking

Boats : Touring kayak, surf kayak, 2-seater kayak.

Characteristics of the craft : a kayak is an easy-access craft that can be used for gentle touring or more energetic outings, on your own, with another person or in a group.

Who :  Age: 7+

Where : at sea

Organisation : if you hire a kayak, it is put into the water for you. You are monitored by the general safety staff at the lake, in a predefined kayaking area.

Activity : You can organise your outing on your own and paddle for as long as you like. The kayak is ready to sail when you arrive and will be put away when you finish. You will be given some safety tips.

Equipment :
- Lifejacket supplied by the water sports centre
- neoprene wetsuit supplied by the water sports centre

Our advice : 
- on very sunny days in summer, wear sunglasses, sunblock, a t-shirt, shorts and a cap
- on cool overcast days, wear a windcheater, pullover and trousers
- you are advised to wear shoes that can be worn in the water
- bring a change of clothes

Safety : the lake is monitored and the kayaking area is predefined.
