Description : The HC 16 is the best-known of all the Hobie Cat catamarans. It is fast, takes the waves exceptionally well and is an ideal boat on which to gain advanced skills. With its spinnaker kit for experienced yachtsmen, the boat can achieve impressive speeds, even in medium winds. The rigging of the HC 16 is fitted with double harnesses and sails with reefing devices (to reduce sail).
Activity : Provided by qualified instructors, the courses are based on the theoretical and practical aspects recommended by the French sailing federation (Fédération Française de Voile). The level of skill achieved is entered in the federation passport issued at the end of the course. Students are required to be relatively experienced and our instructors will take account of personal goals. Emphasis is placed on learning new skills at your own speed. Our aim is to ensure that you enjoy some active recreation and help you find out more about a sport that is full of excitement and thrills.
